GETTING TO KNOW YOUR GOVERNMENT

Project Type: Interactive
Client: Student Brief, University of Western Sydney, 2014

THE BRIEF

To create an interactive artefact that taught someone how to do something. I chose to focus on teaching young adults how the government works, as I was concerned about the fact that Australian school curriculums do not have mandatory government studies, and many young people are graduating high school and enrolling to vote for the first time without any real idea of how the government is run or how their vote counts during elections. The target audience was high school students from age 16-18, and the project had potential for use either by individuals with an interest in learning about politics, or as a tool for learning within the classroom.
